Vellore fort

We got out of the hospital a bit early today and took a stroll to vellore fort, built in the 1500s. Now its buildings house government offices, a church, mosque and a hindu temple, called jalakanteshwara temple. Let's call it "temple" from now on.

As you can see from the pictures, the temple was truly beautiful. We happened to meet one of the cmc security guards, who figured the only other white people at the temple must be from cmc, and he kindly insisted on showing us around the entire temple and most of the fort. He was also very excited to take pictures with us.
