French colonial jerks

So I did sneak one picture in the museum, of this cart below, called a pousse pousse, French for push push. Back in the days of governor duplex, the ruler of Pondicherry in the 1750s, he would sit in the cart and steer with the handle in front. For horsepower he used manpower, and had four members of lower casts push him around. He also had a statue of himself built on the promenade, can't believe it is still standing...
